Our Story

The Laman’s started in vizslas in 1998 with our first Vizsla named "Zoe", she was a household pet that was super smart and easy to train. She did lots of tricks and was such a loving, gentle soul. When Zoe got older we acquired another Vizsla named "Tova".

That’s when it all began.....under the suggestion of the breeder, we started showing Tova and luck would have it, she started winning and winning and winning. She became the first Vizsla in the state of Arizona to achieve her Bronze Grand Championship, as well as earning an Award of Merit at our National Specialty. She also has several “back end” titles as well. All this has helped groomed me to explore many areas to work, breed and show our Vizslas.

In 2015, we met Susan where we instantly formed a common bond in all things canine!! For over 40 years, Susan and her husband have bred and shown Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Pugs, Boxers and now Vizslas. They have been active in Obedience, Rally, Agility, Conformation, Tracking, Barn Hunt and Search & Rescue. With that said, there is a lot of fundamentals behind Valhalla Vizslas.
