A fantastic weekend at the Flagstaff Kennel Club Scent Work Trial with some wonderful results for the Valhalla Crew!

• Two High in Trials — Phoebe
BISS GCH CH Valhalla’s Most Radiant Star, SEN, SCN (Walker x Star)
Phoebe stole the show, earning two High in Trials with 8/8 qualifying runs, four 1st places, three 2nd places, and a 4th place. She also added two new element titles to her name. Susan Shorb and Phoebe make a fantastic team!

• Scent Work Advanced Title — Tilley
CH Mehagian-Valhalla’s Waltzing Matilda, RI, SWA (Spanky x Suki)
Tilley finished her overall Scent Work Advanced title, earning a 3rd place in Advanced Interior. She was entered only in Interior.

• Scent Work Novice Title — Kiva
GCH CH Valhalla’s Amber Sunrise of Sol, SWN (Ralphie x Tilley)
Fresh off maternity leave, Kiva finished her overall Scent Work Novice title with two 3rd-place finishes in Novice Interior. She was also entered only in Interior.

• Advanced Exterior Title — Ollie
CH Valhalla’s Fly By Ollie, SWN, SIA, SEA (Maverick x Stella)
Ollie qualified in Advanced Exterior, Buried, and Containers, earning two 3rd-place finishes and completing his Advanced Exterior title. He is getting very close to finishing his overall Advanced title and continues to show tremendous drive.

• Advanced Qs & 1st Place — Star
GCH CH Valhalla’s Star Alliance With a Silver Lining, JH (Tanner x Stella)
Handled by our friend Kristine, Star earned three out of four qualifying runs in Advanced Buried and Interior, including a 1st place in Advanced Interior in just 38 seconds, along with 3rd- and 4th-place finishes. An impressive first outing at the Advanced level!

A special thank you to Kristine for stepping in to help with our handling conflicts. You always make it look easy. We promise to give you back to Ruby eventually! 🤭

• Virtual Rally Advanced Q — Jules
Valhalla’s Jule of Our Sols, RN, SWN (Jensie x Stella)
Jules came out ready to play, but unfortunately an administrative error meant she had to sit this trial out. She did, however, earn a Virtual Rally Advanced qualifying score a few weeks ago.

Thank you to the Flagstaff Kennel Club, especially Valerie and Lisa, for putting on one of our favorite trials, and to all of the judges and volunteers who made the weekend possible. It was such a fun and successful event!
